RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology utilizes radio waves for wireless data transfer without physical contact. Readers, known as interrogators, interact with RFID tags by transmitting and receiving radio waves. There are two main types of RFID readers: Fixed and Mobile, each serving specific purposes. Some readers can connect to multiple RFID antennas simultaneously, extending their capabilities through the use of a multiplexer, enabling efficient data collection and tracking across various applications.
