NVIDIA’s Game-Changing Announcements at COMPUTEX: A Breakdown

The annual COMPUTEX conference, held in Taiwan, is the world's largest trade expo for information and communication technology (ICT). Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the conference was held virtually from May 31st to June 30th this year. At the conference, NVIDIA, the leading manufacturer of graphics processing units (GPUs), revealed several intriguing announcements. Here are NVIDIA's main announcements from the COMPUTEX conference.
CEO Jensen Huang with New Nvidia Grace Hopper chip

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang kicked off the COMPUTEX conference in Taipei, announcing platforms that companies can use to ride a historic wave of generative AI that is transforming industries from advertising to manufacturing and telecom. “We’re back,” Huang declared as he took the stage after years of virtual keynotes. “I haven’t given a public speech in almost four years — join me today!”

Nvidia’s devices and other projects are critical foundations of the current advancements in the AI industry. Huang brought up the topic of accelerated computing several times during his lecture. Accelerated computing, according to Nvidia, is “the use of specialized hardware to dramatically speed up work, often with processing that bundles frequently used tasks.”

Generative Ai Avatar with NVIDIA ACE

NVIDIA launched its new Ai-based NVIDIA ACE GDX Cloud engine to bring the ai avatar to life by making it totally capable to understand text-to-speech. Natural Language Understanding by itself.

Making Ai game Avatar to respond in real-time by understanding your voice and text. To make things smooth NVIDIA created an avatar backstory to get better responses by only Ai generative large language models.

It will make each game story or player totally different from the other and also gives freedom to change the ai knowledge to make it more personalized.

Guide Ai to generate Information

Huang detailed about New Language Software is capable of understanding any structure of Information. Now we can give prompts of text, speech, or image to any structure in Software by teaching ai models.

Simple chatbots like ChatGPT accelerated AI’s public recognition, but “cross-content-type” AI applications, such as text-to-video, video-to-text, or text-to-music conversion, promise even greater impact.

NVIDIA breakthrough this and now 1600+ Gen Ai companies building on Nvidia.

Grace Hopper Superchips

The GH200 Grace Hopper from Nvidia is now in full production. The super chip has 4 PetaFLOPS TE, 72 Arm CPUs linked by chip-to-chip connection, and 576 GPU memory.

It is the world’s first accelerated computing processor with massive memory. According to Huang “This is a computer, not a chip.” It is intended for high-reliability data center applications.

Huang stated that over 200 billion transistors on Softbank’s GH200 Japanese data centers would incorporate Grace Hopper into operations.

Additionally, global server manufacturers Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Lenovo, offer a broad array of NVIDIA-accelerated systems.

Cloud partners for NVIDIA H100 include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cirrascale, CoreWeave, Google Cloud, Lambda, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Paperspace, and Vultr.

Nvidia Omniverse Cloud

NVIDIA OmniverseCloud is a platform that provides developers and enterprises with a full-stack cloud environment.

It helps to design, develop, and manage industrial metaverse applications.

It also brings efficiency to the Factory by making Ai based simulation of the factory with multiple users in software to interact from anywhere in the world.

It is impressive because it uses Physics Laws to make it more accurate and real. For that, you have to just put data of your factory structure and it will auto-generate a 3D interactive simulation.

NVIDIA Gen Ai for Advertising

NVIDIA and WPP announced today that they are working on a content engine that will use NVIDIA Omniverse TM and AI. In order to enable creative teams to produce high-quality commercial content faster, more efficiently, and at scale while being fully aligned with a client’s brand.

The new engine merges 3D design for manufacturing supply tools, including Adobe, allowing WPP to blend 3D creation with AI.

This enables their businesses to communicate with customers in highly customized and interactive ways while keeping the quality and consistency of their brand identity.

New NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4090 Ti

The first thing that strikes me about the new GeForce RRTX 4090 Ti from Nvidia is for its power efficiency. In comparison to Nvidia’s prior-generation RTX 30 and 20 series products, the new GeForce RTX 4060 Ti offers additional features with lower energy usage.

Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, priced at $399, delivers a solid PC gaming experience with 10 – 20% raw gains over the organization’s previous generation RTX 3060 Ti.

In brief, we receive greater shaders compute TFLOPs, ray tracing TFLOPs, and tensor core (machine learning) TFLOPs while using a lot less average power and board power.

Final Thoughts

NVIDIA’s keynote address at the COMPUTEX conference in Taipei demonstrated the company’s dedication to advancing AI and unveiling ground-breaking technology. Jensen Huang founder, and CEO, emphasized the importance of computing and its capacity to accelerate work through specialized hardware processing.

NVIDIA’s keynote showcased its leadership and commitment to technology boundaries in sectors like gaming, advertising, data centers, and industrial applications.
